CAMPING IN A MEADOW, 1927, Yosemite National Park.
Once a lovely meadow, in 1927, on a long weekend, camping overflowed
into Stoneman Meadow in Yosemite Valley. Today no camping is allowed in
that meadow and it is gradually being restored to its original beauty.
Today's difficulty is keeping tourists from criss-crossing it with
trails as they take short-cuts across the valley.
