Summary: 
APPARENT SUICIDE. J.F.C. (Victim) was found by visitor (W.E.L.) lying in
dunes with apparent self-inflected shotgun wound to head. Shotgun still
in grasp. Mass. State Police and Truro P.D. investigating. Victim
dressed in hunting gear, but no indications that death was due to a
cause other than suicide. NJ note found but victim was known to be
despondent over recent (2-3 days) death of close friend.

Autopsy is scheduled for morning of 10/20. Truro P.D. attempting to
locate/notify next of kin.
