Incident location: Dells of St. Croix River
Summary: He & friend diving off rocks in Wisconsin state park. Jumped
into St. Croix River from 50' cliff. Water only about 10' deep there -
water swift. Never resurfaced. Recovered body @ 1945. Severe bruising
to the head, "minor level" of blood alcohol. Probably cause of death:
unconsciousness, then drowning.

Incident location: Catherine's Landing - Power Line Cove
Summary: Victim water skiing behind boat being driven by
daughter. Let go of rope. Daughter turned boat around to
get him & hit him in buttocks with prop. Pulled out & taken
to shore. When rangers arrived, gave CPR (he'd been
underwater awhile). Transported to hospital. DOA.

Summary: M.I.D. was seen by a park maintenance person at 0845 -
M.I.D. was siting on a bench, writing on a clipboard. A visitor
found him at 0945, dead of gunshot wound to the head. M.I.D. left
two suicide notes, one to parents and one to girlfriend. One of
the notes referred to prior mental problems.
