NEW RIVER SYMPOSIUM
The New River Symposium is held annually each spring
rotating from the three states of West Virginia, Virginia and North
Carolina. The 1985 Symposium is scheduled for April 11-13 at Pipestem
State Resort Park, Pipestem, West Virginia. In 1986 the Symposium will
return to Virginia.
Those interested in presenting papers at future
conferences should contact the sponsors. The Symposium is a
multi-disciplinary conference for lay and academic people interested in
the historical, cultural, recreational and scientific importance of the
New River.
