Technician Series Position Descriptions
Servicewide career ladders have not been established for technician positions. Technician positions, however, can be at full performance at a variety of grades, depending on local needs. These non-supervisory benchmark technician position descriptions are at full performance GS-5, GS-6, and GS-7 levels and can be used without further classification if they apply.
